Dear Karen,

As the day of our 2010 Convention celebration approaches, I want to express my sincere gratitude to you and the Greenspring Tours staff for being instrumental in the success of the Train Collectors Association (TCA) 56th National Convention held in Baltimore, Maryland, June 20-27, 2010.

During our initial convention committee meeting, you promised that “Greenspring Tours is committed to doing whatever it takes to create a wonderful convention experience for all your attendees.” I must say that you kept your promise! From the initial 26 site inspections through to the conclusion of the tours, you set the standard very high with your proficiency in tour planning, organization, and implementation services. This was all done economically, while at the same time ensuring the safety of our members.

Greenspring Tours gave the TCA a memorable one-of-a-kind experience at our convention with many “sold out” tours. Our members gave nothing but rave reviews about Greenspring Tours’ tour guides and the tours which they hosted.

On a personal note, your pleasant demeanor made working with you a very enjoyable experience.

Thanks to you and your staff for doing an outstanding job.

Eileen Rollyson, Assistant Co-Chair and Treasurer, TCA National Convention in Baltimore, MD
Dear Ms. Salamon,

I would like to take a moment to thank you— both personally and on behalf of our City— for your support and your generosity during last week’s U.S. Conference of Mayors Annual Summer Meeting.

When we began planning for this conference a year ago, we set a goal to make Baltimore the new standard for other cities to follow when hosting this meeting. The success of our conference theme, “Oh Say Can you See,” is a direct result of individuals like you, who know the great many things Baltimore has to share with and show off to the nation; and who so generously gave your time, your hard work, and your generosity to make Baltimore City the wonderful host that it was.

From the volunteers who greeted every attendee to the amazing partnerships that helped make each evening a distinctly Baltimore experience, you helped give our visiting mayors a unique look at everything our city has to offer. From visiting Baltimore’s historic waterfront and playing bocce in Little Italy to enjoying a traditional Maryland crab feast and from experiencing the wild and wacky fun of Baltimore icons John Waters and Duff Goldman to visits to our historic and cultural institutions, the week’s events inspired everyone with both the “Star Spangled” history of our nation and the renaissance of our city.

Once again, thank you for your commitment and support for the 79th Annual U.S. Conference of Mayors.

Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Mayor, Baltimore City
Karen,

On behalf of the USS Dyess DD/DDR 880 Association we want to thank you, your tour guide and a fabulous bus driver for a terrific tour that you planned for us on October 8, 2015 at the USNA in Annapolis. You did a wonderful job in showing us many others areas the regular tours do not get to see. We had three academy graduates present, one from 1952 and two from the class of 1953. The chapel was a highlight of the tour, something everyone should get to see plus the parade ground where the midshipmen march into the hall for noon meal. We were very impressed with what you did for the group and the special assistance your tour guide rendered to anyone with a special request.
